Neat and rarely seen picture these days. Also nice to see that not all federal agencies in all countries would try to give breech birth to a burning porcupine over something like this like the Freely Associating Analists would around here.

This photo brings up an interesting thought. I wonder how many civies were hit by brass from over-flying 17's/24's and Luftwaffe slugging it out? 1000 plane raid and 11-13 guns each + luftwaffe is about 15,000 guns firing :shock: That is a big rain of brass and links.

That's a really good question. I'd like to know that myself. Are there any records of downs being littered with shell casings after a bombing raid or similar air battle overhead?
