Request for photos: PB2Y-3R (Bu#'s 7222-7242, 02737-02746)

Mon Mar 17, 2008 11:13 am

I have been asked if anyone here has, in their collection, photography of any of the Rohr-built PB2Y-3Rs. What is being sought, more than anything else, is combat or service photography. We have production photography, but no in-service shots.

Thanks,
Ryan

Did Rohr ever build complete aircraft? I worked there for a bit early in my aerospace engineering career and they only built nacelles, thrust reversers and subcomponents.

Wow! Thread from the dead.

PB2Y-3R
PB2Y-3s converted by Rohr Aircraft Corp as freighters with faired-over turrets, side loading hatch, and seating for 44 passengers, 31 built.
