No CC or DO?

Approximate timeframe--- Magoo McGovern?

That was this last summer in Afghanistan. All the names were pulled off the jets for the deployment.

Magoo was the CC when I first arrived, but the boss during last years' deployment was Stoner Stone.

Since 'my' jet didn't even deploy, I can't show off the markings on the jet that has my name on it (there aren't any!). So, I used the flagship instead.

:)

EDIT: Can anyone (BESIDES you, Gunny!!) figure out what all the ordnance is that was dropped? The silhouettes are pretty accurate depictions of the actual weapons.

Ok, I'll stay out of it... I did look and tally the different weapons... the tail number of the squadron jet used to be 248 and I've dropped a few from that bird<g>..... tell Stoner I said hey... we were in the 334th together in another life...

The ones immediately below the Eagle and the number "492" appear to be smaller Paveway LGBs, perhaps 500 pounders. Do I see JDAMs on there also? My computer monitor is not all that great and loses a lot of resolution.

Awesome mission totals, Randy! You guys rock!! :supz:

Cheers!

Yes, but not very well.

Just a poor attempt at humor...

Randy,
I must say that I'm a little disappointed in that those markers are all over the map. You need to get a little order and discipline going here like
Lt Ellis of the 362nd FG :!:   8)

Apparently the trucks were driving in the opposite direction of the tanks, trains and horsecarts.

Okay, you guys are all in the right neighborhood, but nobody actually figured it out.

So, here we go.

The 'big' bombs are GBU-31 JDAMs.
The LGBs are GBU-12s, as was correctly pointed out.
The smaller "slick" bombs are GBU-38 JDAMs
The winged beasts are GBU-39 SDBs.
The "little boy" is a M129 leaflet bomb.
