Very cool picture. I didnt realize that the 262 and the other CF birds had gotten together yet.

No that doesn't belong to the CF however if enough people will donate I am sure you could see this at an air port near you!

That picture was taken during a photo flight that was done with the first 262 new build that was flying, then later delivered to the owner in AZ.

aha

You were one of the lucky ones

I wanted to be in that flight so bad

But our ramp was buzzing with activity in preparations for this photo shoot

To bad 909 couldn't keep up I do have some shots with Withchcraft the Fuga and 909 way in the back.

The 17 had to do a ride before we left the previous stop. They were about a half hour behind. It was a pretty spectacular day all in all. I have over 100 shots of the 262 air to air that will someday end up in the book...when I retire.

2 things wrong with these pics.
1. None of the engines on the bombers are smoking.
2. Theres no little friend behind that 262.

Someone I work with added smoke with Photo shop and to say that I was

would be putting it lightly

Fortunately I have one of the only copies, and should never see the light of day. There was a little friend it was Bud Granley in his Fuga
