I have no chance of keeping up with Jack, but wanted to post this original photo of Witchcraft that we came across recently. We have actually had the photo since well before we painted the B-24 as Witchcraft, but just recently ran across it again.

Image

The photo has not aged well. Someone glued it into an album at some point. I am working on trying to figure out what mission this photo was taken on. From the markings on the side I know it is somewhere between mission 100 and mission 130, but have to blow up the original photo to count the bomb marks to get an exact number. The 467th bomb group has documented their missions fairly well, so we should be able to figure out what those bombs are headed for.

Interesting photo, and yes I noticed the smoke as well. It also looks like she is dropping two different size bombs, but upon further review, the smaller looking bombs are actually from the 24 in the background.
