Thanks Rick,

I should have mentioned I was aware of Collings Tour also, looking more for non-date specific companies.
Thanks,
Bill.

The High Sky Wing of the CAF and some other CAF units are approved by the FAA and CAF to offer rides for hire. We offer them in our SNJ and PT-19 based in Midland, Texas. I'll see if we can't get a listing of all other CAF planes and units posted in the near future.

Rick,
Well since the scooter is one of my favorites, that would be great, but likely out of my price range. But thanks for making me drool again.

And thanks to all the others who have offered suggestion. Keep them coming if there are more.

Bill.

West Houston Squadron

most weekends, weather permitting
AT-6

At their Open House April 19-20th
There are usually rides available in member owned:
PT-17 Stearman
PT-19 Fairchild
Mooney (painted in AF colors... Before you bletch and kvetch, it has turned out to be popular because we can fit multiple family members in it and they can share a small plane flight.)

Big Fun,
SPANNER

You could always schedule a flight in a real combat warbird this weekend at Frontiers of Flight. Our UH-1E served with two Marine squadrons and was flown in combat by Capt Stephen Pless, the only Viet Nam Marine Corp helicopter pilot MOH winner.

I expect to fly down to Texas for the show at LSFM, and there is a chance I might have the rear seat available, one way only if I do. Really no room for bags and I like to keep the weight below !85 lbs. I'll post something else as it gets closer and I know for sure. Can't make any plans yet.
Lone Star is also going to be doing rides, I think, T-6, B-17 or B-25?
