Photo question about POF/Chino Airshow

Mon Jan 10, 2005 3:08 pm

I need some advice please:

I'm thinking about going to the POF/Chino 2005 airshow. As a photographer, one of my biggest concerns is the position of the sun seen in relation to the performing airborne aircraft.

From what I know, runways are 8L+R/26R+L and 3/21, and if the crowd are placed on the northern side of the active, I guees the sun realy can cause some trouble.

Any views on this?

Thanks

Yes, you are right. You have to catch them early in their flypast. And the smog that time of year sucks too so the sky is usually quite brown/gray.

The show is spectacular though, even if the photography isn't.

Contact me via PM for more tips about Chino.
