Nah, that's not English weather, it's
real rain, rather than endless drizzle.
You need to save the pic of working on sweeping the B-24 for the keen but naive volunteer induction!

too bad

It's a shame, and it'll certainly cost you guys money as far as revenue flights that can't happen...
But I'd pay real money to be able to shoot something like that once...

That sux for you guys, but gives us some cool photos so thanks!
Not too often nowadays to see a B-17 or B-24 with snow on them.

Hang in there Neon ! We're probably going to do our first post inspection on the snow blower today . If all goes to schedule we'll see you Friday at Alliance.

WTF over?
Should I get Gator one of these?
The snow is different to say the least. It looks like you have a few die hards in that first photo. That reminds me of one of the days that I spent with you guys last year in White Plains. Rain all day and temps in the 40's to 50's with random warbird lovers showing up all day. You gotta love it.

not to ruin it but its going to be rainy tomorrow and then possibly turn into slet/snow mix by midnight with a chance of turning into snow by6 am on friday... hope you wait there awhile before heading over here to FW. but hey the weekend is looking good lol.

Too funny guys...we are hanging in here. It FINALLY warmed up today in Texarkana...we moved a hundred miles from Ft Smith and it warmed up almost 30 degrees. I have to say in 6 years of being out here that was a first. LOL Jack...we never utter the "H" word!!!

Yeah, especially after the Fort and Lib got caught in that "H" storm in Dallas a few years back! (although it was fascinating to watch the fabric on the control surfaces being replaced out there on the ramp at Cavanaugh's; I'd never seen it done before).
Looking forward to seeing you guys hangin' around here in the Metroplex for a "few" days!
Cheers!

That last "little" hail storm cost me 16 states in 16 days moving the control surfaces around that didn't get repaired on the ramp at Cavanaughs. Nice summer trip, though, we saw a lot of neat country and got to spend some time on the road with the bombers.
