Didn't Patty Wagstaff fly an extremely HOT aerobatic routine in the razorback Mustang "Princess Elizabeth" at the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends.......I believe if was on Saturday.

I came out of the Legends tent and began to watch an aerobatic flight being done in "Princess Elizabeth". I asked someone next to me who was flying the Mustang and they said Patty was.

It was one of the most (or THE MOST) impressive routines I have ever seen a prop warbird do!! 8)

Beryl Markham - wrote one of the finest books I've read about flying (or any subject, for that matter).

For you Patty Wagstaff fans, let's just say you won't find many friends of hers in the aerobatic community.

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

Gotta go with Patty, but there are so many other terrific ones that a real list of favorites would be difficult to comprise

Why does Patty not have many friends amongst her peers? I've not heard this one yet though I've heard similar remarks about Mary Dilda.

Amilia Reid,

It's my honor to say she taught me to fly.

A fine pilot and one heck of a lady.

Thanks bdk. Someone I'd not heard of, and she clearly made several impressive achievements in her career, against a lot of negative expectation.
