Absolutely not Jack, your photos create many wonderful conversations here. You're one of the very few exceptions to the rule of multiple posts. You're probably the main reason why I'm here. Simply put Jack ..... YOU ARE WIX!!!! .... keep it up. What you do and what some others do are very different indeed. You present us with warbird history that only you could provide. Your photos are brought to us by you and your personal research, not just a quick google search. We all can do that. You just keep posting the same way you always have Jack .... Your posts leaving the front page so fast is what I've been frustrated about.

Jack, you should write a book. I would be the first one to buy. Have you ever thought of that?

In all, I think Jack should have his own sticky. Is he or is he not a CO-MVP here? This way I could find all his images in just one single place. Can anyone image how huge it would be? Exaggerations a part, it would be larger than Footnotes website.

Umm Jack, there is a reason why you've been voted two years in a row as WIX's Co-MVP & I hate to break it to you...it's not your good looks. It's because of the extremely large contribution that you make to help make WIX what it is. I personally have gained so much not only from your photos, but the whole WIX experience. Where else could I go & get a look at yours & Martin's photos & have the added bonus of the knowledge that you two have about the stories behind the photos? Not only that, but I get to virtually (not literally virtually, but virtual virtually) rub shoulders with Warbird mechanics such as Gary, Mike Rawson & Rich Palmer; Warbird owners such as Jim Beasely & Bill Greenwood & ground breaking Pirate Lex!! Everyone benefits from your photos & it would be a great loss to WIX if you stopped posting & (IMHO) it would do a disservice to the WWII vets that you memorialize with your photos.

Besides, it would be a real pain & expensive for me to fly all the way back there to join Gary's mob in the raid on your house.

Don't EVEN think about stopping! Simply put, your posts are part of the backbone of WIX; I couldn't even imagine what WIX would be like withiout your pics!

Some have asked about a book - have you ever considered something like "Pic of the Day"?

I'm ammasing a fairly substantial photo collection myself but I don't know who's who in the photos. The photo with the personal info is invaluable. Please don't stop. I don't think you can say Jack IS the WIX, but certainly a valuable contributor.

And if you stop, maybe we can get some funds donated for a Pappy Boyington memorial across from your house.

It was not my intention to add to the melodrama or validate my self-worth. But rather just wondering after seeing this.....

and having a few PMs telling me I'm taking up to much space on the forum. Has for the post total that doesn't mean a thing. Scott can reset me to zero and bust me to Airman Recruit (Iit's not like i've never been there before ).

Has for the photo gallery I've never go there or most of the other sections has there's just to many and not enough time. With the sticky thread, i'll leave that for Scott but most of the sticky threads I see are of the same subject matter. To have photos off Reno, then P-61s in the ETO, then B-29s in China, then my step-dad's or my Navy stuff all mixed in to the same pot doesn't make sense to me. What i think is all the extra info and details wixers provide like on the Merlin Men thread that was great but would those same people dig for that photo it a sticky thread or even know it's there??

YESSSS! You have bothered people so much, that you were chosen the MOST VALUABLE POSTER.

Posting your photos, takes the time to scan them and to organize and upload them; "it jus ain't" the same as copying and pasting a link to a video.

Every single photo that you have published here, has an interesting detail, either foreground or background that has prompted additional questions and avenues of research.

So, by all means, yes: keep bothering away! : )

And that leaves me with another doubt. From what I have seen, you get more answers to your questions/doubts if you post in the WIX HANGAR section than anywhere else. Is it just me, or anyone else feels the same?

Anyway, I do like JC’s images. When there’s a title I’m not fond, I simply bypass it, which I may add it rarely happens. And people here always leave some smart remarks and I learn a lot of things I wasn’t even aware of.

Now what in h&ll brought this on? Your pics are great, don't stop!

I'd love to see you have yourself a WIX blog of your very own. I think that would be an awesome way to display all of your pics in one place, with all of the great info that you put along with the pics.

Don't stop! I am glad to open your post and actually see a pic of something, usually pretty cool, than a link to something half arsed!

If you stop I will post pics of my last trips to Disneyland until you come back!
