I guess I'll have to buy a B model with my winnings. Off to buy a ticket.

I did get to meet BE a few years ago, delivered a PT-26 to Buzz at West Philly (?) and he showed me around. Maybe time for an avatar change...

I really hate the blue on the P-51s. That being said the a/c
looks really nice. The blue looks darker-is it??
Remember that the blue P-51 issue is one of the fun topics here
and not to be taken to seriously. But when it's repainted.....OD right
BTW when were you at Marana? I used to come down ever so often on the EVG Lear.
Being friends with Mike (RIP) had it's advantages :!:
I remember a few people from there mostly Bill M. and Greg Klein.

I am not sure if we ever met but I was lead mechanic there at the Ventures hanger before Bill was hired, back when the birds did not fly so much and the B-17 was being put back to oringinal config. Many days spent fabricating parts from the 35mm prints. The 100LL sure started to flow after Bill came on scene. As my grandmother used to say " bless his pointy little head" Go Bill
Some of the best days of my life spent there.

It was Northeast Philly and I remember the termite jokes after he got that PT.
We have a little better facility now. How I hated the ramps and the winters there.

Hi Rick,
Your name does sound familar. I took a lot of photos at Marana but most went up with my house last year :?
Do you remember Sandy Ellis or Jerry Johnson?
I miss flying with Mike in his S2B. He was always impressed that I never barfed through all the gyrations!
Sad to see it how hanging in the rafters along with all the other former flyers :!:
