You can tell by the prop dome (cylinder) that it is a Hamilton Standard. The Aero Products prop has no protruding dome on the front. Look at a Bearcat or Skyraider prop for an example of how that would look.

Might be the P-51 that stood for many years outside Holz Technical School. Beleive it ended up in US, bought by somebody named Regina.

You know, all I can say about this is that the playground I grew up around just royally sucked by comparison to what ya'll show in this photo.

I grew up falling off of monkeybars, big old industrial tires and sizzlin' hot stainless steel slides here in Arizona 40 years or so ago, and somehow gravitated toward old airplanes. Ya can't keep me off of the darn things now.

To think - quite possibly if I grew up falling off of a Mustang parked as a playground prop in my elementary school, what I could have become? Ah, the human potential lost. I see it now.... :wink:

The Regina brothers brought a whole bunch of stuff from Israel over the years and did a lot of mix and match. Huntress, Widowmaker/Miracle Maker and the P-51B replica that became Princess E all had much ex-Israeli content IFIRC.

The B wing if memory serves me came out of Israel maybe from a tech school.The fuse was built up from a d model into a proper mustang that became Shangri-la.

Back in late 70's or early 80's, I believe ...Air Classics had a few pages on the Ragina brothers carting off the Mustang goodies from Isreal, and the rebuild process for the razorback "Stang....
