Would have been cool to have an A-4 screaming over with a nape run in the background !

Glen, at AirSho the last 2 years we've had a Vietnam-era rescue using UH-1s, AH-1s, several Skyraiders (thanks in part to Erick), and O-2 (thanks to Karen), and an OV-1 (thanks to Mr. C. and Doug). I think last year they also had one of the A-26's working the CAS line as well, but I wasn't there and the DVD hasn't arrived yet either.

But it has full pyrotechnics courtesy of the CAF's EOD & Blastards, so it's quite something to experience.

Re-enactment at last year’s Thunder over Michigan.
Also a note on that video, purple smoke was often called "goofy grape" after a popular powdered drink mix back then.

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.
