P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

My guess is that it is a Stearman instrument panel that has had an artificial horizon and directional gyro hacked into it.

By the location of the instrument needles, several instruments are damaged. Why 2 compasses? Looks like an aircraft panel someone put some misc. gauges that were laying around.

I have to agree with you. It really looks like someone had a blank panel board and decided to fill in the holes with gauges. The Gyro Indicator, the Compass and the Tachometer are obviously misplaced. For me this was made by an amateur. Judging by the other items from this seller, I think he doesn’t have a clue in what he is auctioning. And people are really making bids...

The one on eBay is interesting in that all the holes are filled.
