PostPosted: Mon Jan 28, 2008 11:55 pm
I haven't met anyone personally here yet, and from some of the photos I've seen, I don't think I want to .... :D :D :D

I'm beginning to think that I have found a site where people who are castouts, has beens, low lifes and down right criminals hang out. All this time I thought you guys were respectable, educated, and experienced warbird enthusiasts, well once again, I've been hoodwinked .... I'm going to TOM and Chino this year, probably the only airshows I'll get to make. Get your as**es there and lets just see what kind of riff-raff you really are .... BEER on me, unless you smell funny ... muddyboots .... get there too, no whinning .... :D :D :D

I used to be a good boy, but then I met Bill Greenwood at Zack's OSH-WIX party, and then Bear "dragged" me down the street to the SOS Club, and then..., and then...

Resistance is futile...come to the dark side.

Seriously, looking forward to seeing you at Chino! And don't worry; when we met up there last year we were all friendly and civilized to each other - for the thirty seconds it took to take the group photo... .

I resent being called "respectable"!
Jeez, you don't even know me!
I wish I could get to Chino one of these days, I haven't been since 1989!

I met a bunch of you guys at the WIX party at Zach's met Bill,Barry and some of you guys, and then missed out on that tent. I won't be missing it this year. The party was great, and it is so much fun to finally meet up in person.

Well, lets see, I've met Bill G., worked with Ryan Keogh, Jim Harley and Ken Miles, spent a little time with Pooner, raised Ryan Harris and helped raise Chris G, met Ztex, Nathan, and a bunch of others whose screen names escape me. And last but not least I have met the amazing and humble retroaviation himself !

I too had a great time at Zach's OSH WIX party. Got to meet Dan K, Jaybird, Bill Greenwood, Sabremech, Mustangdriver, Kaigun Fan, Django, Retroaviation, of course Zachary, and others that escape my mind this morning. Oh yes, and I will take responsibility for corrupting a few WIXr's by taking them to the SOS tent. I do believe we should organize another WIX recruiting mission this year.

I have worked with Rick H, Ryan H and Chris G. Don't know if any other CF/VMF folks are on this board since this is my first post.

Heck, I got you all beat!

I have met Scott Rose, and also THE Kernel; Tim (TimAPNY) almost made it but didn't. Talk about two disreputable characters! : )

Oh! I have also met Tim Savage, Versatile, Gary Austin (he of Aviation Amusement Park and Pony Rides fame), met some of the neat bunch at Breckenridge, the guys in Nampa, ID., Dick Phillips, and a few others here and there.

I would not though, dare to call them smelly or unkempt. They are already aware of that : )

Saludos,

Tulio
