Dayton airshow 2006 - pictures

Sun Jan 27, 2008 11:55 am

Scott, please feel free to move this if you think it right.

As some of you may know I have inherited the photographic collection of a very good friend.

I am still working my way through nearly 10000 slides however I do have a few digital images as well. Here are some taken at the Dayton Airshow in 2006. All pictures are by David Goodall.

Splendid pictures :D

Last year I took my Dad to the Dayton Airsho and the NMUSAF. It was his first ever airshow (he will be 70 this year). While the tragedy of losing Jim Leroy was horrific, my Dad was like a kid in a candy store looking at and being able to touch some of the aircraft on display. I will treasure the memories made and hope to get the chance to take Dad to several more airshows. Oh yeah, took him to Udvar-Hazy a couple months ago and once again, had to remind him to look and not touch :D

Being able to share time with someone you love around things that you love...priceless!
