Does anyone have any historical information on North American F-86F-30 Sabre s/n 52-4689? We have this aircraft on static display at VFM. It last served with the Bolivian Air Force and is still wearing its faded FAB camouflage. I'd like to find out its USAF service history and maybe obtain some photos taken during USAF service. It would be nice to restore it in its original paint scheme. I am also curious as to whether or not it flew in combat in Korea. I did a Google search and all I found was a photo of the aircraft in our hangar. The FAA registration is N8630. No usable info there either.
Cheers!

Dean,
I have looked for 10 years and have found nothing on any of the three Sabres TAC brought out of Bolivia...
One of these days something will surface...I hope...
Good Luck

I requested the history card from the USAF on our F86 S/N 52-4986 and have almost a complete history. Someone posted the contact information here on WIX for the USAF and Navy to request these records.
