P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

Heard that the P-61 would probably break into pieces if it was moved. Anyone confirm that? The mainspar was supposed to be rotten.

I want to save the P-51 "Wild Horse" that they have. It sounds cool!

Deals have been done, but not by shouting about it on the interweb.

So can you wiseacres distinguish between lightning and a thunderbolt in the Chinese language?

Moved where? It would need to be disassembled to get it off the museum grounds and it would have to be hauled away through downtown Beijing on trailers.

I was not the least bit concerned whilst standing beneath it when I sneezed... I suggest these rumors were started by people who had never been within 1000 miles of it.

So did the MAAM P-61 have good spars? Why does any of this matter? Is someone proposing to pre-lube the engines and fly it out?
