Here is a little short song about the true heros of the flying world, the Crew Chiefs. It is to the tune of the Bud Light song.

Gary, this ones for you...... 8)

Thanks Gary, thought you would like it, I really liked the part about droping the pen inside the cockpit, don't know how many times I had a code 1 jet come come code 3 for pilot fod in cockpit.

It's scary when they pull up floor panels in the Herks how much stuff is in there that shouldn't be....

This rocks...

That's the kind of aviation writing I'd like to do (but the editor says: "too many bad words there, lad. Besides, have you checked the VW launcher isa fact?")

http://www.warthogpen.com/fact_sheet.html

"...It can survive having a 2002 VW Beetle launched at it at extremely high velocity by a Russian-made Volkswagen Cannon,..."

"...and can take more punishment than an entire farm full of disobedient donkeys. ..."

Warning - really careful vocabulary has NOT been used in this link. If you want a polite description of a death dealing airplane, look elsewhere. ;)
