Warbird Information Exchange

They had four of them on the field that were being converted to freighters and as I recall, I was told they were putting the JetStar engines into them. Don't know if it ever happened, or if the guy I was talking to really new what he was talking about.

I did see this particualr JetStar later minus it's engines, and IIRC the tail sitting on the field later.

One of the twin engined prototypes is undergoing restoration to static @ the Museum of Flight restoration facility @ KPAE in Everett WA.
