Jack,
I'm an author of WWII and naval aviation books (INTREPID, most recently) and just finishing a book about the air/sea battle of Okinawa. Windy Hill, the subject of one of the Corsair photos, is in the book, and I'm wondering if you have a high res copy of the shot of him in the F4U? Would be most useful.

Hi Jack,

Very interesting pics.
Do you say if they are shot at Ondonga ?
i'm looking for pics of the VF-17 during this period.

Cheers

Hey Jack how about some early VF-17 on the USS Bunker Hill.
Or some VF-18 Hellcats that replaced them in Oct 1943 to early 1944.
