Scott, maybe I should PM you with this, but I would also like some imput from the other folks here as well. I notice a resoration index, but I really don't see much in the form of services offered by anyone here in the restoration business. Maybe it would be valuable to have people who restore or fabricate, or any such craft in the warbird world be able to list their services here on WIX. I tend to see some people out there that are looking for specific items to be built or restored. This would NOT be a place to advertise per say, but to be able to say ... "yes, I have built that before, or I could help you with that" .... seems there are a lot of folks here that have an incredible amount of skill and experience in warbirds and I would believe that it would be great to have an avenue for these folks to be able to meet. Maybe you already have this index in some way .... :D

Sounds like a good idea, but not neccessarily just restoration related. I've already hooked up with django on a logo & am thinking of talking to Ryan about doing a web site for me. It took me a while to locate Ryan's post about the web site (I never can seem to find anything quickly when I use the board's search) & it would have saved me a lot of time if there was a services index.

Thanks Jim, please drop me a line or call (contact info is at www.ryankeough.com).

I have been thinking about adding a business directory to WRG and discussed this with Scott as recently as two nights ago. There are some good database driven business directory scripts out there and it would be fairly easy to add. As WRG/WIX becomes not only a resource for enthusiasts but ALSO pilots, owners, restorers, mechanics, and buyers, this subject becomes a lot more valid.

If anyone has any recommendations or experiences with these business directory scripts, please let me know. Thanks.
