Tim,
What a fantastic issue with the best cover picture on your magazine yet! Excellent coverage of GML and article on the P-40s with John Paul.
I am really excited about the P-63 restorations.

Definitely another great issue. Although the (uncharacteristic) numerous typos in the John Paul article had me rereading a few paragraphs.

Great stuff, as always. Great articles, superb photography. However, every issue I've ever read has been full of typographical and grammatical errors. Not trying to cause trouble, just making an observation. Actually, now that I think about it, the same problem exists with most of the aviation and automotive mags that I read. Hmmm... :?:

Cheers!

Great Article on the Oscar Deuce! Greg and the guys did a great job, and the following article was an excellent first peron account of flying the Duck in combat.

Thanks

I just finished reading mine this afternoon. Great stuff as always! It's always entertaining, I like the different look and it's always educational. It's also pretty cool to see aircraft I've been close to and read about people I know or have met.
I prefer the in-depth feature format instead of the late-breaking news look. I can't think of any better place to get the news than WIX.

Keep it up, Tim

Doug.

T33driver,

I enjoyed the article as well. Did you ever manage to track down those T-Bird Manuals btw? I was in Ottawa recently and made some inquiries at a location that holds them, but they informed me that some new T-33 owners from the states had already been in touch with them. That wasn't you by chance was it?

Cheers

Edward

Thanks Edward! I haven't tracked down the RCAF T-33 operating regs/manuals (besides the dash one) yet but would like to get a hold of some. Not sure who was inquiring in Ottawa but I'll ask around.

Paul,
Is the gray/green 52/1579 T-33 yours? The one was pictured several times with no captions.

Sorry, missed this question--yes Canso, the camo T-33 (RCAF #133579) is mine. I've removed the markings in that pic, touched up the camo paint and will be applying Canadian Forces markings this week.

Paul -

The ever obligatory question - when can we see pics of the updated markings? :)

Mike

Ace photographer WIXer Henning offered his services so hopefully by the end of the week we can get some shots. The beeridgerator is full so I think he'll show.
