I am going to throw in the tape Dive Bomber, kick back and relax. :D It's my day off from work and its time for some "me time". 8)

The only downfall with watching this is I get into wanting to build USN airplane models. But I don't have the time anymore to build them. :(

Too bad I don't have any beer..... Well, if anyone has a beer tonight drink one for me, eh?

Tape? That is so 1990's. You really should upgrade to the DVD. It is absolutely STUNNING! It looks like it was filmed yesterday. Yes, it is that good!

IMDB is a great site for quotes and trivia on movies, here's a good quote:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0033537/

Lt. Douglas S. 'Doug' Lee, MD: As far as I'm concerned, a woman is like an elephant. I like to look at them, but I don't want to own one.

This is a watershed movie for my entire career field and is well known by many military flight surgeons -
It's one of the few movies where we are the hero!
:)

My favorite paraphrased quote from the movie:
'Well, I guess we won't have any more problem with G induced black out'

best

We JUST watched it at Squadron movie night at West Houston.
The footage of the Big E and the Sara got me ALL stoked.
AND our new N3N-3 engine has been started at least three times now!

My favorite line(s) from the movie... "Cigarette?"
Including the guy busted up in the ambulance.

Happy New Years ALL,

SPANNER
