I remember that in the attempted coup that- now President Chavez of Venezuela, organized in 1992, there was some air-to-air action between venezuelan airplanes, but I don´t have the specifics. Maybe someone can look into it.

"Sharky" Ward wrote a pretty good book about the Falklands War as seen by a Harrier pilot, don't have the exact title.
It was a nasty little war that didn't seem to accomplish much except get hundreds of young men killed.
Not the brightest move by Argentina to start it, I wonder what happened to those in power at that time.

All wars are nasty....some accomplish more than others! This one had a few good-ish results (but we'll leave that to another thread!)
