However, since the question was posed, I would choose a C-119 Boxcar.
It seems like an odd choice, but I have my reasons. Firstly, I've never seen one fly,

wasn't there one flying in the movie "Always"? ....

Well, if I was living on Fantasy Island I think it would have to be the sexiest thing with wings, a deHavilland F.3 Hornet or maybe a Tigercat.
But since they are both made from unobtainium that's out the window.
So instead I'd have to have a J2F-6 Duck.
(But heck, I can't even afford to put oil in one.)

Dream aquisition...B-36 from the NMUSAF...couple millions and off we would go into the wild blue yonder  Or, the Hustler they have!

Reality...Spitfire. I know someone already said it, but the earlier the mark the better! Single-seater...sorry Bill, I want mine all to myself

Of course this is all dreaming & subjective to boot...but I'd like nothing more than an F4U-4 or 5. I saw dash 5's fly over my house as a kid when they were on downwind @ Moffat Field in Mountain View, CA.

I always said that if i won the lottery, the 1st would be........

I think if I were given one, I could start a 501C and start to maintain it and keep her going by donations.

I would want a "mike" model UH-1.
