Tulio,
Nice photo of the elusive and psychotic Shadow.

She doesn't look like she's being elusive in THAT photo, does she? She is, however, giving "The Look" -- Where was Skeeter during your visit? Did you check the Stearman? I had some great photos of him playing "I'm king of the world" on it, but lost them when my old computer croaked...........

Beachy,
Shadow has her own way of doing everything. One minute she's running away from you, and the next she wants some lovin'. She reminds me of our dog Guinan--neither one seems to care to use the little pea-brain God gave them at times.

As always Tulio, thanks for the good pictures & information.
Love picture #2 - real WWII airpower: A
Swordfish, a
Mustang and a
Commando in one hangar. Gotta love the CAF.

I just won the lottery but don't need a C-46 (already have a 47) so I'm thinking B-17. Seeing the CAF has two is one for sale? If not how about a B-29 after all its been down for years and you c an take the money and buy something smaller that won't cost so much to restore.

Thanks Gary! I figured you'd drop in for some input. Hopefully she will find a good home and we'll see her back in the air!

I just want to know . . . who did you cut out of your avatar photo, and why???
(poor guy) (although he probably deserved it)

Thankee, thankee, guys : )
The cat was friendly, and came up for some behind the ears scratching. It was though, moving around and I wasted a few shots trying to get a decent picture, but without using the flash because I did not want to spook it.
The Swordfish was a first for me. Impressed by the size, but more so because everything on it screams 1930s! Amazing that it was used with such success -but also with so many loses- against the Germans and the Italians.
Saludos,
Tulio
