I always thought it was neat how irregular the black and white stripes were on a lot of these planes, not like the extremely clean and straight stripes on modern day restorations.

I'd love to see an A-20 back in the air, with or without the invasion stripes. I always thought the A-20 was one of the more underrated aircraft of WW II.

too bad there are so few of those left... really a fantastically pretty plane that was quite capable in a lot of roles(maybe not a great nightfighter though).

If any warbird owners want Invasion stripes applied, I'll be there with my mop and paint in the morning. No masking tape required! 8) I absolutely LOVE those overnight-applied stripes and the history that goes with them.
