Kind of hard to have a trial
State V. Deceased

I'm at work, right now, and trust me, I am getting all kinds of flak, from this to....."How long are you going to work on that stuff" I'm almost done

Thus, "alleged" in my book, literally.

I work in journalism, and the word "alleged" is a legal and moral necessity. No matter how compelling the evidence, the Presumption of Innocence is the cornerstone of our legal system. Also, if you came right out and said "the plane was on a drug run" then you open yourself up to legal action from the estates of the deceased. Better to just cover your butt by using the "A-word." That way you can present the information you have, and let the reader draw their own conclusion.

Okay, I have thrown my hands up in surrender already. Your point is well taken........I Promise Scott, and to any body else that I will put a disclaimer that all this stuff is a ..oh that hurts...A...a...Alleged.....ahhhhhh
Just like when a guy is video taped blowing a store clerk away he is captured on video, gun in his hand killing someone. He is identifiable, nothing alleged about it. Look enough said already on the subject of alleged guilty insane, what ever...I see your point, it is well taken. I hope to have my alleged story up either today, this evening, or tomorrow.

It is also alleged that I enjoyed this longer version of the story even more than the first one. And I'm not gonna argue about that...

My friend Mark Sawyer got what he called the bell cranks out of the tail I believe these control the horizontal stabilizer, the rest of her was burnt and really not much left, that was back in 76' about 4 feet of her remained. People had taken axes and hatchets cutting away the skin looking for cocaine and pot, what wasn't actually damaged in the crash was destroyed by thoughtless folks.

That is a very interesting story. I am sorry that involved a loss for your family. It would be an interesting subject for a book on how many aircraft of the Warbird type have been involved in such operations. The author would most likely not survive to see it published. (I guess some of the people involved are still around). Living in Georgia I have heard bits & pieces of stories like this. Thanks for sharing this with us. I hope someday you find all the missing bits & pieces .
With Best Regards
Robbie

I was contacted by Dik Shepherd, who indicated that a small portion of my facts were incorrect. I do not think that they were. Regardess, that portion of the script has been edited from the script until such time as I can verify what was previously written, So to Mr. Dik Shepherd, I do most humbly apologize.
