Because there didn't seem to be any interest in it

Actually the best piece I've read here recently.

Thanks man....I want to dig up my notes, as I have the complete military history on this B-25. I interviewed one of the player's in this little venture, and he clarified a lot of my theories which turned into facts. Give me a little bit of time, and I'll bring it back up in the same location, same winged channel.

Just because there wasn't the interest currently, doesn't mean that there won't be in the future. The entirety of WIX (as well as the other WRG sites) is indexed by Google and stands pretty high on the search results... so if anyone was doing research on the B-25 now or in the future, they would find your post.

Also keep in mind that though WIX is read by many on a daily basis, there are quite a few that sit down for a few hours on a weekend and catch up on topics... so response may be low, but interest may still be high.

We appreciate the efforts of research and writing that go into these posts and thank everyone for putting them up. It helps everyone learn a little bit more each day!

I agree with the previous sentiments here. I had only had a chance to glance over the topic only due to time constraints, but I was looking forward to reading the whole story you presented to us in its entirety this weekend. I do hope you get it back up soon as there are many stories out there that haven't been told before and are just aching to be.

Am I missing something? All I see is "TEST"

There must be more to do with it. Something about a B-25?

nope. I get "test" as well. It's a secret code. You have to be left handed and have five toes on your right foot to be able to read it.

Guys All of your points are well taken, I kinda went off when I read "alleged" in the description of the limited history of the aircraft. Nothing is alleged, it is fact, she was on a drug run. I am trying very hard to get the information up this week. I just wanted my facts to be correct. After 30 years, things tend to slip from time to time, and I wanted to be consistant in the facts. Also, two of the players in the saga of N96GC are still alive. One is in his 70's now, and played a major role in the employment and drug running of N96GC. The other man was a Confidential Informant (CI), who was right under the nose of one of the pilots, and I imagine he is in his 60's now. The cool thing is, I know who the CI is. The CI doesn't know, that I know, who he is. So, I am trying to get this done the week of 19 November 07. Thank you for your interest in this Mitchell.

As one who used the word "allegedly" in the history of this airplane in my B-25 book, I'll add that I will avoid directly accusing people, especially dead people, of things for which I have incomplete information. The account I used was based on media reports that were incomplete at best. As a writer, I'll continue to use "alleged" for such subjects and maybe cut down on the death threats. It's worked so far.

I understand what you are saying, and I am not knocking you for that.
Exactly what kind of proof do you require

A trial verdict showing the accused guilty of the illegal activity.

Since I'm not doing the in depth story of this airplane that you are, the particulars of other involved isn't as important to my story as it is to yours. Great bit of research, by the way, so don't misunderstand me.

Sometimes it's better to call a duck a duck. In this case and other similar ones, though, I'll defer and use discretion in what I put into a book.
