If you are paying for the trip to the Alps, and all the equipment and training, I'll be there. Beautiful. I'd do that in a minute. Now to find a way to store all that potential energy and convert it to directed lift. Once we do that, the cliff strikes won't be so fatal.

I'm wondering if there any fatalities yet. If not, give it time. The civilian parachute world is full of yahoos who are spoiling to get killed.

Well, if nobody's saying anything about the credit card thread being "off topic", I guess it ain't up to me to point out that this one is too.

I didn't expect Mudge to be grumpy or the Spanish Inquisition.

Good picture of me in the helmet and goggles. I grew the 'stache" just for that picture.

Mudge the slightly less grumpy

ps...sorry for the GRUMP. I had my left knee "scoped" yesterday to repair a torn miniscus and a torn ACL. I'm on some pretty good drugs right now. :drink3:

If I remember corectly, there is only 1 manufacturer of these things, and to buy one you have to prove how long and a certain amount of jumps completed.
The second or third tombraider film had these in it, and thats were I remember it from.
It may have changed since that was a few years back.
