The flag's been added for the Californian trip. It might be for the hard of thinking - 'don't panic, it's one of ours!'

Flying Tankers Inc had US Flags on the boats years ago as well to signify their American heritage. I wonder if the new flags might be something required for US operations (kind of like a plane I know that is flagged as a Vietnamese aircraft to be able to operate in and out of Vietnam but is wet-leased from a US-based company)?

Is the Mars still at Lake Elsinore, or has it gone home?

I wonder, when in US service, did any of the Mars boats have the ole flag painted on the side like any of the Clippers?

D'you know when? I ask because we were researching the FT schemes for a kit a few years ago, and it was, frankly, a nightmare, as they kept changing details about every overhaul. Yes, they were red and white, but all the logos etc.
