I remember the FM-2 from years ago. Way before the MOF or any museum.
It sat out in front of the Red Barn where the MOF is now.
I was sorta of a patchy bark blue with blobs of light blue.
Jack Lenhardt got some stuff off of it for his FM-2 N20HA restoration.
I may have some slides of it in my surviving stuff.

I wish we were working on it. Right now I'm in the process of stripping the house so that we can redo the remodel we started in 2005. We apparently disturbed something late in that process. In July we got a little water in parts of the house and that has really set whatever it is off on a real rampage. I think we've only had two or three days since then that Val and/or one or all of the boys hasn't been down sick. So, now we are going to completely gut the place and fix everything so we can sell it and get them to an enviroment where we don't have the security and flood potential like we do now. This house has seemed to fight us every time we try to make any improvements, and the recent rumors about flood plain designation changes have made it a priority to get moved.

Maybe after the first of the year we can get things settled out so that I can at least start building handling fixtures and dollies for the big parts and make a little progress.

Ahhh yes...those pesty little everyday interruptions which prevent us from pursuing our "Fun" tortures!
Sounds like you have a pretty aggressive schedule..so your health must be better?
Apologies for the CRS, I meant young'n's plural. Good luck and blue skys.

Yeah, I'm doing a heck of a lot better than I was....the company was actually looking at medically retiring me. Finally was able to do a bit of door kicking and got some answers that helped us to be able to stop the retirement talk and get me back to work. Bad thing about it though, was spending 6 months off unneccessarily and the loss of a trememdous amount of pay coupled with a pot load of medical bills.

As to the CRS...heck I have to look a the newspaper in the rack to figure out what day of the week it is.

As to the apology, it's not necessary. I don't expect anyone that isn't around us reasonably often to remember. I have trouble with names all the time. I've got people that I work with and have known for nearly 20 years and can't think of their names without sneaking a look at their id badges! I'm great with facts, figures, directions and navigation and where I picked up very esoteric info and data, so go figure....
