today, legendary cleveland air races legend dick becker has passed after a long bout with cancer. he will be sorely missed, but his mark on aviation history will endure. god speed!!

That is very sad news. I met him several times at the Air Racing Historians Symposium over the years. He was a great guy, and told some fascinating stories.
