today, legendary cleveland air races legend dick becker has passed after a long bout with cancer. he will be sorely missed, but his mark on aviation history will endure. god speed!!

Right now Dick and Cook are somewhere above us turning
left around a pylon and pulling Gs like mad...............

That is very sad news. I met him several times at the Air Racing Historians Symposium over the years. He was a great guy, and told some fascinating stories.
