Well not most of them. During the tour people were allowed to do that. It was later painted over, but when the plane was stripped down to bare metal, you can see it etched into the metal. Now there are some vandal markings on there as well from the late 70's and 80's.

The XF-90 looks better than I had expected considering all it's been through. Kelly built them like tanks!

Yeah he did! It is still being decided how the aircraft will be displayed. It is not going to be fully restored but kept in the stat it is in. There may be a great display coming with this aircraft.
