I missed seeing the SR-71 fly.

I missed seeing the Concord fly.

I darn well better not miss seeing a Mars fly.

Nice selection of images. Good article was published few years ago in Mushroom magazine and there was also included technical scale drawings.

I can't get over how clean they keep the plane and how immaculate it is on the interior... truly a labor of love keeps these planes flying.

If Discovery Channel wanted to jump on a hit, I'd say they do a documentary type show on the Mars flying Boats.

That would make quite a Mega Machines episode Nathan...I'd clean bilges on
that bird for a month for free for a ferry-flight ride to So-Cal and participate
in Ops. What a majestic bird...
