To add to Mike's comprehensive list.
Pics 9 and 10 are a Buccaneer S1, 11 is a an S2. The air intakes are huge on the S2 to feed the RR Speys lurking within.
Pic 13 as Mike said is the BAC.221, rebuilt from a Fairey Delta 2.
In it's former incarnation it was the World Speed record holder for a while at 1132mph. It came as quite a shock as it beat the previous record by over 300mph in an era when it had been just creeping up 10 or 20 mph at a time.
It's always annoyed me that of the two FD2s built, they chose the record holder to rebuild. The other one survives in the RAF Museum at Cosford.

thank you for this great set of photos, and for making a decision for me, i will not be going back to the museum whilst it is in this state.
i like to see aircraft, not atmospheric scenes where the lighting is so bad you need a torch to see where you are going, there is a lot of this crap happening now, and i personnally think it is rubbish.
i visited the museum about 24yrs ago, and it was far better lit.

Nice set of photos, Armyjunk2. The FAAM is one of my favourites but the lighting's a bit of a challenge. The colour cast that you get in the WW1 & WW2 halls can be removed by specifying white and black points in your photo editing software or by taking a custom white balance before shooting.
The Fleet Air Arm Museum opens up its reserve collection to the public a couple of times per year. There are some real gems in there.

Robbo Thanks for the advice, I will try to figure out how to do that, new camera with new problems to solve, all advice appreciated. I never knew I could fix that. You think I can fix it in Adobe Photoshop?

Armyjunk,you certainly get my vote as this year's Most Valuable Poster.To give a possible answer to Jack Handy's Firefly question,I don't know the identity of the Firefly on Courtesy,but....My friend Matt Graham from Minden Air sent me a picture of a Firefly on a trailer arriving at their facility in MInden,NV. earlier this year.The markings are:RAN WD833 and the number 910 is under and slightly behind the pilot's cockpit.One of these days I'll get up enough nerve to try to figure out how to transplant photos from my Photobucket account to WIX.
