Does anyone know who owned or was working on a B-25 located on a private grass strip 10 miles due south of Vinita, Ok. airport...I sighted this B-25 around 1990...I had pictures of this a/c, but were destroyed in house fire a few years back.....also looking for N-number and s/n on this bird.

Do you remember any nose art or any other details?
The only one I can find right now is the Martha Jean out of Tulsa, and I am somewhat sure it is not it.

You can also check this... 2 aircraft from OK.

this one has a shark mouth.http://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/photo/075349.html

If it is even listed, or not sold to someone else.
Good luck

For what it's worth, as per B-25 Mitchell in Civil Service, Colvin Aircraft owned 44-29127, registered as N9899C. It was sold by Jr. Burchinal to this company at Big Cabin, OK sometime in the 1980s. Ownership was disputed, and the airplane went to C&P Aviation at Anoka, MN, in 1995. However, the owner of record with the FAA remains Colvin Aircraft. Big Cabin is located about 10 miles south of Vinta, so my guess would be this is the airplane in question. The book has a photo of the forward fuselage as stored at Anoka, circa 1995.

I helped the buyer retrieve the pieces from Oklahoma in 1995 October. just saw the tail section this past week as he is moving it all from the Anoka airport to the airpark 10 miles north. My section was the Nose, propped up on a mattress and strapped in.
