It was a great weekend all around. First of all the weather could not have been better. The staff overcame the early learning curve and really came through for us when it counted.
I was crewing the B-25 Pacific Prowler. We were one of the official photo ships for the show. So a lot of the air to air shots were taken from the tail of our plane. I lost count how many times I removed and replaced the Tail Gun turret last weekend. We got to the airport at 5:30am and left usually after 9pm. But it was worth it. We had so many requests for rides on the B-25 that we left the plane in Columbus and are flying again this weekend.
But the one thing that really made this a successful show was the fact that EVERY aircraft that launched came back safely. EVERY pilot and crew that flew lived to fly another day. THAT is what makes a show successful. Thank you to everyone who helped put this show together.

Patrick,

I did not have the pleasure of meeting you or flying on your B-25, but I did do a photo flight in Axis Nightmare. Greg Valero was a great guy to work with, as well as his crew!

So, a big thanks to both crews for the long days you all put in to give us safe - and very cool - photo flights. The images are outstanding!
