Well, if all goes as per the master plan, FG1D Pilot (Doug) will fly the T-28, and Curt and I will fly in the C-47.........and we might also see about bringing a P51 :roll:

Its amazing to see what an event this ASB get together has become.
I was trying to post the link to Daves topic earlier and I wasnt quick enough for the laptop battery in my work computer.

The cost of the buffet is around $27 per person payable to dave in a check or cash prior to the dinner. (The rest. needs to know how many)

Uhhhh...seems to me ASB already "picked" Princess Elizabeth. Might try to choose an alternate out of the other 99 expected.

I'm with Lynn, I'dd vote for the C47 as well..
easy to find.. not as likely to be swamped with non wixers
at the given moment?

Times? earlier on Saturday better before the show begins or
would noon or something be better?

Chuck you got a smoke system on the T-6? You could buzz them with the smoke on right before shutter click! :twisted:

Hey wait thats an idea, a WIX photo in front of the C47 while you make a photo pass in the background! :D

The ASB get together is at 0900 both Sat and Sun in front of PE!
Shannon and I will be attending this get together and the Saturday Dinner.

Whats the plan for the Wix Meeting? I was thinking something bigger also, the area in front of PE is going to be a mad house of people trying to get photos of the more unique airplanes. Then add a gathering, WOOHOO!

Anything along the lines of the C-47 would be good, maybe even the Lanc. Either way it should be set by the end of the day today for each of the days to have some consistency. People will not be able to attend every day for various reasons and a pic for each group would be good.

OK, so no one is really deciding anything here so I will. If you are interested in a group photo, meet at the CFM C-47 at 1000 and then the Lanc at 1100. We will do both so as not be be outdone by another newer and less passionate board.
