That sounds like a plan Bill. I know a number of us are busy on the Friday night, so how about we say 7 PM in the lobby at the Obetz Comfort Inn and decide where to go from there?

Here is a map link to the hotel...

Bill: Let me know if I don't have the correct hotel.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

We were staying at that Red Roof until Accor sold the RRs this Summer. We had to switch to the near-by Motel 6 in order to stay free

That is where Kelly and I are staying also. Depending on weather and what the show looks like I think I may try to get back for Sundays show.

I am at the Comfort Inn nearby. We should make plans if we are going to meet somewhere at the show or elsewhere since time is runnning out. Some people are already travelling and might not have computer access soon. Pick a plane or place and time for all of us to try to meet at the show. Ideas? Anybody?

Don't plan on just showing up and getting into the ASB dinner, though. If anyone wants to go but hasn't already contacted DaveG, you need to do so to get on the list. I think he said it was near 95 people, so talk to him soon!

Its amazing to see what an event this ASB get together has become.
I was trying to post the link to Daves topic earlier and I wasnt quick enough for the laptop battery in my work computer.

Here it is....

http://www.airshowbuzz.com/forums/index ... 0&start=80

PM daveG to add your info if you would like to attend.
The cost of the buffet is around $27 per person payable to dave in a check or cash prior to the dinner. (The rest. needs to know how many)
they do not want 65 different credit cards at once!

Is there any planned get together for us Wixers on friday yet?

I'd say the bes time is after all the flying is stopped and at the C-47 that some of the WIX Crew is flying in (I'm not sure what C-47 that is but someone can ID it)

I'd love to see a P-51 but the aircraft might be covered by everyone. I'd say a daily gathering for those who will be there somedays and not others.

Well, I've got good news and I've got bad news. The good news is that I became a father for the second time on 9/11, a beautiful girl we named Madeline. The bad news is that my mother-in-law is not helping us out and my Columbus plans are down the tubes. I've cancelled my flight, hotel, and rental car. It's either that or I become victim to AIDS (Aviation Induced Divorce Syndrome). I hope you all have a great time, and I'm looking forward to the photos! See you at Geneseo.

Congrats on the new addition to the family. Sorry to hear about the plans going down the tubes.

Yer a good man. Pick an aircraft, and I'll email you a hi-res shot, from one dad to another.

What I would give to attend this event. Unfortunately, I think it's sold out, and I'm in S/E PA. Not to mention $$$!!
