Dose any body have a Video of the Dont Mess with Texas TV Litter Ad ? it was used in the late eightys the then Confederate Air Force and the State of Texas did a awsome head on shot of I belive it was Texas Raiders B-17 coming over the rise making a Bomb Run on litter bugs in a old Pick up truck ! Never get tired of watching a Bomber like that on a Head on shot ! Speaking of is Texas Raiders any closer to flying this Year or will it be next year ?

The CAF was splitting advertising revenue back then and Texas Raiders did an ad with Tom Landry already. Timing was not right as it would have been logical to use Raiders in the Texas commercial. Never the less it is still a cool ad and holds up after all these years, except for the PC name change.

I flew the CAF's old Wildcat along with Reg in Gunfighter as escort for Sentimental Journey in the filming of the commercial. Due to the terrain, altitude and turbulence behind the B-17, neither fighter made it into the final cut.

I do have a copy of some hand held video shot on the ground of the making of the film, which includes one very low pass by the B-17 where one or more of the cameramen hit the dirt. I'll see if I can dig up my copy and perhaps post a link somewhere. It will probably have to be after AIRSHO which is only 10 days away.

The video picture is a bit small to see and when you expand it you can't
see either but I seem to remember one or more of the turrets were
turning directing the guns toward the litterer...Tom
