I might bring my grandsons by for a visit on Sat. or Sun., but unless they want to go, I don't think I'll be there. I ran the Press for the Stratford stop, so I was already visiting with them earlier this week!
Do let me know if there will be a bunch of WIX'ers there and when, I mightbe able to go at the same time if the boys want to!

Check out this neat video from Tuesday on Channel 8 News!

A really great story about my friend Chuck Theriault, who flew 30 Missions with the 8th Air Force in WWII.

Go to “Video Player” box on left side, and scroll down to “WWII Vet takes nostalgic flight at Sikorsky” by Kent Pierce.

Nice piece on my friend Chuck and his first flight in a B-17 since his 30th mission back in WWII!
Chuck is usually at Oxford the whole time the bombers are there, so if you go, please say hello!

Having the opportunity to fly with a veteran gives you a greater appreciation of what they did 60+ years ago.

While I was volunteering with the Foundation I got to go for a flight in the B-25 with a guy that had 102 missions in a B-25. It was quite an honor to fly with him.

NO!

If pilots would stop breaking airplanes I would have time for it, I took Wed and Fri off this week but I still ended up working 10 hours Wed and a 4 hr call in today. I even spent Wed night in Rockland, ME

Im looking forward to a slow week someday, Thank goodness for being busy!
