For those experts on the board, a question:
Is 'Glacier Girl' the aircraft's original moniker, or is that a name just given since the exhumation from the ice cap? If not, did GG sport any nose art or name before the ditching?

I don't think she had any nose art at all. The name Glacier Girl was given to the aircraft during the recovery.

Does anyone know that correct N-number for GG? I'm not sure the one on the Warbirds Registry is...

Her correct N-number is N17630. I believe on the airplane it is written NX17630.
