Hey Dan-O, is that Minky on the Zero? Re-incarnated again? What a cool way to spend a late afternoon or evening, burgers on the grill, watching some big iron taxi out and adding a little "harmony" to the band! Alan

What a great day! We reinstalled the tank doors on both sides, hung the nose, pumped up the struts, placed the greenhouse on the tail and moved everything out of the way in preparation for the roll out on Saturday morning. We squeezed in lunch with three beautiful ladies and a little aviating in the T-34. At the end of a long day we debriefed with beverages and went out to dinner. I got home around 2230. A long but satisfying day!

I hope to see some of you at CMA this weekend for the air show. Our Hellcat, Zero, Bearcat and C-46 will be flying. The Executive Sweet guys will also be flying. We are rolling out the PBJ and she will be on the ramp. Here is the website for the show info. http://www.camarilloairshow.com/airshow.html

Looking real good!

I was going to "jump his A$$" on calling her a B-25, but his "Just kidding!!!" saved my comments. However guys, if she is Blue and White, she is a Marine Corps PBJ-1J, not an Army Air Corps B-25...

If any WIX members are able to join us at the CMA EAA airshow this weekend and are interested, I'll have some history of VMB-611 on display with our PBJ.

Dave

If she is blue and white and has a BuNo. (35857) she is a real PBJ...

See you tomorrow Dave!

Congratulations!

There is something about rolling her outside that just gets the enthusiasm going! Continue the great work everyone--can't wait to see that old girl on patrol.
