Who was George Kenny? I think I may have a gap in my edication here. Macarthur...grrrr! Ever hear what he made Eisenhower do in Washington to the Hoovervilles before the war? He should have been prosecuted before he ever got dumped in PI.

Kenney commanded the 91st Aero Sqd in WWI and shot down Herman Goering and won the DSC.. In WWII he commanded the 5th AF, Far East Air forces. Has a 4 star Gen he commanded SAC.

I KNEW I knew his name! I should have been thinking eaalier than those WWII piccies! I'll have to look into him more. Must have been an interesting guy! He had all kind of pumkins to juggle out there! Would Kenny have been the guy that Mountbatton was always bothering for more C47's to supply his troops?
