 Post subject: Grass Strip Fly-in in MI

For those of you in the Southwest part of Michigan or northern Indiana area, there will be a fly-in/ hog roast at my Dad's place this Sunday the 19 of August. The runway is 2500' ft long and 100' wide. The event is basically hosted by EAA chapter 132 and the local balloon group. In past years they have had between 20-30 airplanes, several hot air balloons do an evening departure and about 200-300 people in attendance. This year Jim Maroney will be performing in the Super Chipmunk. If anybody is interested, PM me and I will give better directions but basically the strip is 6 miles due north of the Elkhart, IN airport (EKM). Here are some pictures taken from several years ago:
