The Corsair main gear rotates before retracting aft into the wing.
What is the degree of rotation?? hint, it's not 90' :idea: :shock:
If I'm wrong an old letherneck F4U maintainer lied to me :wink:

To be precise (since I'm a know-it-all and feel the need to prove it constantly) the Corsair gear rotates AS it is retracting, not before... :wink: :lol:
