You usually don't see these little gems on ebay too often. A nice unique collectible but a bit too expensive far my wallet. I'm sure it will go much higher considering all the "stick grip" collectors out there.

Far be it from me to criticize this guy but shouldn't he know that it's Focke-Wolfe, not Focke-Wulf. Could I be mistaken or are both spellings correct. I've always seen it WOLFE.

Mudge the curious :?

It's a fairly rare stick grip with autopilot switch's on it.

I am not questioning the authenticity of this piece, but I know that the Russians used this same stick design in the Mig-15.

The only difference between German and Russian versions that I've heard of (other than the id plate, of course) is the different color on the flip over trigger switch. Does anyone here know of other specific contrasts between the two?

That is a neat find. I wish I could get that, but I don't think the missus would be to keen to the idea. "You bought WHAT?, for HOW much?". Then I get a month in the dog house. Ah well, I will just admire it from afar.

The Mig grip has a casting on it for a pnuematic brake lever that the German ones don't have.

Hey thanks, Mike. I'm just trying to figure out how to convert my box of Mig sticks into enough Luftwaffe ones to pay for the kids' college.

Well, just kidding there guys--but I'm sure it's been tried before. Ebay buyers beware!

Vgphoto, buy that goodie and you can store it at my house and we won't tell her. If you get the rest of the plane we can find a place to keep it also.It looks pretty good.
