I just heard from Kirsten and she wanted me to let you guys know that she is out, that the surgery went well and that she's going through WIX withdrawals already! :D

Here's sending her best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Hope you feel better soon, Kirsten.

(Wish I had seen this post sooner). I feel your pain,..I too have lower back problems on/off the last 20yrs and has gotten worse in the last 2yrs. Finally went and saw an Orthopedic last month, got MRI Xrays, and they found my L5 is misaligned with the S1, and the disk between them is gone, and some nerve is being pinched. No leg pain, just always a knife & cramp feeling in my back. He prescribed Ultram 50mg and PT. I'm supposed to take it 4-6 times day, I only take 1 pill in a 24-36hr period. :D No side affects, and is FAA approved for flight. I feel better than I have in years. :D 8)

Steph, thanks for posting the updates!!!!

Thank you all for your good wishes!!!! I'm home now, but pretty doped up.........VERY sore..........Maybe I SHOULD stay off my back for awhile, eh?   You all have filthy minds! Must be why I like you!!!! :D I'm hoping for a speedy recovery, but if it means the end of my back troubles, I'll let it take as long as it needs!

Catch y'all later!!!

PS: Phil65 -- yup, even here in RI it's central air for me!

WOW, David! Isn't it amazing when you actually get diagnosed & treated??? I can feel the difference already -- I have feeling in my right leg!!!! That's been numb for 10 months! Glad you're getting some relief, too!

Again, thank you all for your best wishes! :drink3:
